陆军学说是一个科研类别,允许一个国家特化其陆军进行陆战的方式。学说一共由四种提供不同类型加成的分支组成。
基础研究时间
第一个学说科技的基础研究时间是191天。所有的后续学说则为382天。也可以通过花费100陆军经验让研究加速100%。所有其他研究速度加成也会被叠加进来。
研究时间例子:
使用100陆军经验获得100%加速,并且通过自由贸易获得10%科研加速,最终的研究时间为:

这条路线专注于机械化部队和装甲部队,也是德意志国的默认路径。该路径对装甲部队和摩托化/机械化部队增益最大。它也减少了作战计划增益达到最大值的时间。某种程度上,这条路径的增益效果集中在前期学说。这个科技树的第一个分叉使你可以从机动步兵与装甲车辆中选择选择一个侧重点。虽然在战斗中机动步兵没有坦克那么有力,但它更为廉价也可以数量更多,所以它可以作为德意志国或者其它工业能力稍弱的国家的一个替代选项。第二个分支则让你可以要么转向防御性态势、增加人力、强化游击队,要么继续发展攻击性的机动学说,前者也是历史上德意志国的选择。

这是苏维埃联盟、中国和中共的默认路径。它使用大量的人力,并提高了士气、增援率并减少了有效作战宽度,使得更多士兵可以同时作战以压制大编制的敌军师。 Radio无线电能够提高5%的增援率,是至关重要的一项科技。早期的学说给出了一些防御奖励,并对步兵有所强化。在分枝上你要么选择大规模动员,继续走主枝的路,要么选择纵深战斗,侧重于较为先进的武器并增强装甲部队、火炮部队和机动步兵部队。
