海军学说是一个科技组,允许一个国家专门化其海军进行海战的道路。科技树由三种提供不同奖励的独占分支组成。
基础研究时间
每个单独的学说条目需要255天的基础研究时间,通过花费100次海军经验,研究速度可提高100%。所有其他的研究速度修正都可以加成到这个科技上。
研究时间实例:
100的 海军经验提供100%的研究速度加成。
同时自由贸易法案提供10%的研究速度加成,
则最后的研究所需时间

学说分支
- 存在舰队:“一支以战列舰为核心的强大舰队意味着我方在海上不容被忽视。”
这是大多数海军使用的一套全面的通用海军学说。它增强了主力舰的索敌和摧毁能力,屏卫舰的对潜探测能力,但还有对所有舰船通用的增益,虽然潜艇似乎不受偏爱。这是水面作战时最有力的学说,也是对反潜作战和相应护航需求最有效的。
- 贸易封锁: “应对强势敌海军时,我方可以着眼于让敌舰队陷入疲惫并打击补给线来敌方的战争机器陷入困顿。”
这是一个具有攻击性的理论,重点是在于协调秘密的水面舰艇和潜艇袭击者来攻击敌人的运输船队,有优越的能力在躲避敌方舰队侦察时发现敌方并摧毁敌方船只。这种能力在正常交战和逃避交战中都十分的有价值,这通常是最好的办法。潜艇对敌人来说会非常的危险。由于这个海军学说,轻巡洋舰和驱逐舰的反潜作战能力一般,护航效率加成较弱,因此脆弱的友军舰艇可能需要付出更多的努力来防御。德国在两次世界大战中都采取了突袭战略,通过切断英国的航运来扼杀英国,也适合海军小国以中等风险和费用袭击敌方贸易路线以寻求海军存在。
