Aircraft are equipment that can be used to equip air wings and are produced in military factories (or sometimes rocket sites). For details on how aircraft statistics affect air wing operation, see air missions and air wing.

All aircraft start with 80% reliability unless otherwise noted.

Aircraft roles and armament

Aircraft roles are defined by their main armament (which by themselves depend on the size of airframe).

Engine modules

The number of engines a plane can use depends on the size of its airframe:

  • Small airframes can install 1 or 2 engines.
  • Medium airframes can install 2,3 or 4 engines.
  • Large airframes can install 4 or 6 engines.

Rocket Engine can only be used on Improved Small Airframe, Advanced Small Airframe and Modern Small Airframe, it cant be used on carrier airframes.

Design Cost of changing engine is 6 Air Experience. When not changing number of engines, then directly upgrading engine for one level above costs only 3 Air Experience.
