World Tension at 100%

全球紧张度（英文名：World Tension）表示全球现存国家的恐惧与焦虑，其数值介于 0% 和 100% 之间。总全球紧张度可以超过 100% 但并不会带来任何额外效果，溢出的部分仅仅可以在抵消某些降低全球紧张度的加成时起作用。

全球紧张度的等级对游戏有着诸多影响，尤其是它会禁用或开启某些决议、国策或一些其他内容。其图标为一团火焰吞噬地球的样式，火焰越高则当前全球紧张度水平越高。通常来说，全球紧张度越高，越倾向于采取战争行动。

The following increases the level of World Tension:

• Declaring war
• Puppeting, Satelliting, Annexing, or taking land, especially without claims
• Sending volunteers
• Joining a faction
• Justifying a Wargoal
• Revoking guarantee
• Certain focuses and events
• Annexing territory in a peace treaty

减少全球紧张度

The following can cause a decrease in World Tension:

• Decay over time
• Peace treaty
• A democracy guaranteeing a nation's independence
• A democracy joining a Democratic faction

随时间衰减

World Tension is the sum of every positive and negative event that has occurred to date reduced by their decay. Each completed individual event will gradually decay toward 0 at .1 per month. Note that this also affects events which reduce World Tension, e.g. peace treaties reduce World Tension, but their effects decay just like aggressive events. World Tension events from countries at war do not decay.

For example, if your current World Tension list has:

• 2% Germany Demanded Sudetenland
• 16.7% Treaty of Valencia ending Spanish Civil War
• -1.4% Italian Peace Treaty w/ Ethiopia
• 0.6% Militarization of Rhineland
• Total: 17.9%

The next month, World Tension will change to:

• 1.9% Germany Demanded Sudetenland
• 16.6% Treaty of Valencia ending Spanish Civil War
• -1.3% Italian Peace Treaty w/ Ethiopia
• 0.5% Militarization of Rhineland
• Total: 17.7%

效果

World Tension reduces the time (and cost) of justifying of wargoals by up to 50% at 100% World Tension.

Different ideologies have different effects on World Tension—both in terms of generation and in terms of how much World Tension is needed to take certain actions.

美国

With the 1.6 "ironclad" patch, the USA do not have hard world tension thresholds for national focuses. However, the Two Ocean Navy Act and Selective Training Act require higher support in Congress if world tension is lower than 50%.
